Grace Must Be Allowed: Finding Harmony in the Small Moments
What if the moments we overlook are the very ones shaping our lives?
In a recent episode of *Pebbles of Light*, I had the opportunity to speak with Robin H. Clare about grace, recovery, and what it means to live in harmony with both our inner world and outer responsibilities.
Robin shared a framework that stayed with me: *pain is inevitable, suffering is optional, surrender is required, and grace must be allowed.* It’s a simple idea, but one that invites deep reflection. Pain touches every life—but how we respond determines whether it becomes suffering or a doorway to growth.
Throughout our conversation, we returned again and again to the power of pause. The pause allows us to respond instead of react, to see others with compassion, and to offer ourselves the same grace we so freely extend to those we love.
One of the most meaningful reminders from this conversation is that grace rarely arrives in dramatic moments. It shows up quietly—in a kind word, a shared story, a moment of stillness, or an unexpected connection. When we slow down enough to notice, those moments begin to change us.
My hope is that this episode encourages you to look for harmony not in perfection, but in presence. In choosing intention over urgency. And in remembering that light often arrives in the smallest, simplest ways.
